Another episode from the Tainui soap opera… yesterday, Morgan desperately tries to drag Tania Martin back into court in another last ditch attempt to have the saturday Te Kauhanganui meeting aborted… the court has had enough of Morgan and tells him where to go… even more Tainui money wasted by Tuku Morgan!

The management of this blogg reflects a lack of maturity, it remains unbiaised and what is the point of this blogg? Therefore it represents no understanding of tribal affairs vs. governance structure. The blogg perspective is disrespectful to the leader and it lacks content credibility.
Facts: TANIA MARTIN is the victim of her own actions, she’s intelligent? Bottom line, confidentiality must take precedence regardless of the sensitive nature. Based on her intent, I believe she had a hidden agenda. Had it been a corporate situation and she leaked info, she would be sacked, immediately that I support.
To discredit TUKU & CO… that is unprofessional because this blogg displayed a lack of maturity, therefore emotional drama and jealousy has come to the forefront.
THE FACT IS THE NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE CROWN WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! and the management of this blogg would not have achieved it…
TUKU CO & expenses. That does not qualify dishonesty but a job needs to be completed and who best to do the job. Those expenses compared to another CEO & ORGANISATION is nothing. The bigger picture must be the focus.
TE ARATAURA must remain because of the info-struture and implementation required to manage the way forward. Without it, the current structure will not survive because the governance was not designed to facilitate the higher demands.
Why are the people against the regime – dear I say it. They want there own financial demands meet. It should be about supporting the current regime through (think & thin) otherwise we send the wrong message to Aotearoa.
If you didn’t understand a single word I wrote, get educated. Shut up and listen. Have an open mind and if your wairua is feeling angry, jealous or greedy. Humble yourself, it’s not about you.

It was a huge success for the GOVERNMENT as Tuku made many concessions and Tainui needlessy gave up ground because Tuku wanted it done with quickly.

What possibly could Tania’s hidden agenda be? Really? Did I see right …”those expenses compared to another CEO’s & organisation is nothing!!! IS NOTHING!!!! I’m sure you will have the audacity to say that to Kaumātua ‘Kanohi ki te kanoh’i who’s grants have dropped, or whose Education Grant’s have dropped, or Marae grants that have dropped. or to the beneficiaries who live below the poverty line. The only one here with hidden agenda is Tuku? Tuku gave himself a bonus, approximately $30K with the Exec’s support, less than a week after Mr Rau was sacked FACT, Te Arataura members have given themselves honorarium increases and then back dated them to 2009 FACT, ONE Te Aratuara hui, held at the Novotel Tainui in 2010 cost the tribe $35k, (ONE HUI! ) FACT. Tuku’ while he was negotiating the river deal, was also employed by Office of Treaty Settlements for the same time frame and was paid BY THE CROWN APPROX $170k FACT, (CONFLICT OF INTEREST, I have a letter signed by MP Christopher Finlayson stating so which was gained through the official information act.) The $100k,’ Success fee (‘which was initially going to me 1Mill)’ was mooted by none other than Shane Solomon and Tipa Mahuta. (Hello, HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST) after which the Co-negotiators had ALREADY BEEN PAID a substantial fee FACT.
THE BIG PICTURE here is that Tuku has set himself up to reap as much benefits as he can, with the support of the board, because they too, are reaping financial benefits. Please don’t insult my and other’s intelligence by saying Tuku is the best man for the job. What an insult to all those in Tainui who also have the skills necessary to do the job. (and there are plenty) His reputation did precede him (and it’s not a good one) and quite frankly, he has lived up to it.
Unlike Tuku, we the people are not out for PERSONAL financial gain, we do not, as you put it, want …our own financial demands met. I will never condone or support such blatant disregard for those who are less fortunate. We deserve, and our uri whakaheke deserve TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY, that is all.

You sound emotionally angry. Don’t get to worked up, its only your blogg. Not to worry, with the right support you will recover. Take ownership of your blogg and stick to the issue at hand. Hopefully you will have a good day. I’m suprised you have time for this. Most young kids focus on their exams with honest results.

The same could be said of your blog and in sticking to the issue without the need for assumptions. It is our right as Waikato-Tainui members to decide whether the current and past practices of the execs are ‘munted’ based on the FACTS at hand and in accordance with the rules/constitution that govern both TeA & TKH. Tuku is a huge liability to the iwi and must be removed as do the rest of TeA.

Huge assumptions your making! What makes you think I am a young kid, who has exams and is emotionally angry? this is hilarious, Accountability and Transparency is in everyone’s best interest. and quite frankly, The people ain’t asking for MONEY they’e asking for TRANSPARENCY. !!!!!
It continues to amaze me how some people justify, condone, and then accept and try to convince everyone else that this sort of behaviour is ok!! HELLO is anyone HOME!!!
