After a childish display Te Ohaaki Marae representative Joyce Maipi was kicked out of last Saturday’s Te Kauhanganui hui at Hopuhopu.
Despite repeated warnings about her disruptive behavior, Maipi was asked to leave the meeting -but she refused.
The foolish Maipi finally left the meeting accompanied by the other Te Ohaaki marae reps who were obviously embarrassed by her child-like behavior.
Let’s hope that Joyce Maipi keeps better control of her temper tantrums or Te Ohaaki may be forced to replace her with someone with a more mature and respectful attitude for any future meetings of the Tainui tribal parliament.

How disgraceful to witness such insolent, unruly and immature behaviour from Joyce, but then not surprising given she has behaved this way consistently during several TKI hui. What I dont understand is why she is allowed to continue this behaviour and why has she not been reigned in by her marae. If she was my marae rangatahi rep she’d be gone by lunch time, and made to enrol in behavioural management classes. She lacks the humility and qualities of her mother which is a real shame. Grow up Joyce, you are a poor role model for rangatahi and certainly not fit to represent anyone Maori or pakeha. Shame on you Missy.

Joice is shit and has at many times shown her true colours in this manner in public forums in the past.I would never put her or her smarmy ass father on any boards or commities.

The delegates of the Marae were very proud of her for continuing to seek the Chairs impartiality during her course of her Chairmanship, she has no idea how to Chair.
Te Ohaaki just asked for her to stand aside because of her “conflicts of interest/s” . So those who think they know, should get it right!!!!!!!!!

Why are you proud of someone who acts in such a rude and immature manner, her behaviour is similar to that of a child having a tantrum and so inapporpriate for an adult, she is certainly not a rangatahi thats for sure, at least they are more respectful. She is well known to rudely interject when other members are speaking and often gives the 2 finger salute to those who express a different view to hers.
She is rude and arrogant and has very little understanding of standing orders and proper application of process. Everyone knows how closely linked and supportive her whanau & Te Ohaaki are with Tuku, furthermore they have all done extremely well out of RHOT.
My guess is that they have much to hide and would prefer the financial review not go ahead neither would they want the financial report provided to TKI. Millions of dollars are at stake kare, our dollars, they are messing with our mokopuna’s future and I will not stand around and allow them to continue doing that. Get that right!!!

Interesting but no surprises that in 2015 Joyce Maipi carries the same arrogance and lack of self control and propensity for intemperate outbursts as is reported here. This woman is totally out of control and unfit to run her own life and an embarrasment to the human race.

wow – you guys really know how to turn on each other!! why not discuss these issues elegantly instead of resorting to the same behaviour you are lambasting?
