Same Sh!t, Different Day

The silly season is upon us yet again as many Maori families struggle with high unemployment and huge rates of poverty, crime, incarceration (remember Tuku thinks that it’s a good idea to build a prison for Maori!), and all manner of bad things… how much do you think the Te Arataura committee will spend this year’s Christmas dinner? Will it be $15,000? $20,000? Over $20,000? Oh and we hope that Tuku is enjoying his overseas holiday paid for by the tribe -first class, five star style as Tuku goes, but only if the tribe are picking up the bill (of course!)

Tuku Morgan in a bad mood

Oh, lets not forget about Tuku’s fisrt class trip to New York a couple years back, entirely paid for by the tribe. So that Tuku could go on all the fabulous sight seeing attractions in the Big Apple, even including trips to the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and the Wall St stockmarket. And on top of that Tuku charged the tribe hundreds of dollars per day because he was at WORK you know!

Whanau, enjoy your unemployment, your poverty, and your hungry kids, it’s gonna be around for a while!

It has been mentioned at a number of Turangawaewae Marae meetings that the Koroneihana Organising Committee was taken-over by Mr T Maipi, Mrs J Paekau and Mr R Papa. There are overdue accounts to the value of One hundred thousand dollars plus that require IMMEDIATE ACTION Mr Maipi, Mrs Paekau and Mr Papa.

Turangawaewae Marae committee cleared YOUR BILLS in order to maintain their good name. Mr Nepia chair of Turangawaewae asked you personally Mr Maipi to reimburse the Marae.

I encourage the Marae committee to administer the following procedure. Write a registered letter to the Koroneihana committee outlining the overdue debts to Turangawaewae. If the debt isn’t cleared within 2 working weeks it will be forwarded to:

    1. A Debt Collection Agency for RESOLUTION.

Footnote this in no way implies that I support the Turangawaewae Marae committees decision to extinguish the role of rangatahi representation at Te Kauhanganui level. Our young people must be apprenticed into our parliamentary process they are our future Marae speakers, leaders and ringawera.

Wow, nearly 40,000 visitors to this site, well done eraka, now if only we could turn those numbers into voices to clean out the filth that keeps coming out of Te Arataura. 2012 promises to be another eventful but exciting year for us, with many marae replacing their TKH members with brighter, intelligent, honest people not afraid to represent or be bullied by Tuku or anyone else. Even better is inceasing number of marae seeking to put forward their Arataura reps to replace the megalomaniac pyschofants on there now.

It never ceases to amaze me how some of our people are afraid or uncomfortable with the practice of accountability and transparency. This is an absolute requirement especially when managing the financial affairs of a collective.

Of course there will always be greedy amoral people (Maori & pakeha) who think theyre entitled to help themselves to the TRIBAL putea without blinking an eye, but we should not have to put up with it. C’mon you 39,053 visitors show your support for accountability and transparency so we can ALL have a merry Xmas and a happy new year, not just the morgans, maipis, moanas, papas, pakis, te aos, joes, and them other clowns.
