Apparently Patsy Mclean couldn’t be more helpful in offering the staff and the resources needed to get the main Te Kauhanganui meeting underway on Sunday. Mclean has guaranteed that the owners of the building won’t be locked out, and that tea and coffee will be made available to all.
Why the sudden change of heart when only a couple of days ago Mclean was pursuing every avenue possible to obstruct the meetings. Gee it must have something to do with a high court ruling! The arrogant attitude shown towards Te Kauhanganui seems to have evaporated fairly quickly.
And to have the representatives of Hiona Marae banned from Te Kauhanganui while they were waiting for TGH’s Tama Potaka to give an opinion on the matter, which begs the question – what the hell has Tainui Group Holdings got to do with the governance matters of Te Kauhanganui? They need to realize that its the marae who choose their representatives and not outside entities. Tama Potaka should remove himself from the matter with haste, given the bias shown against Tania Martin so far.

From what we learned this morning. Jump to it Patsy! Bring more crap down on TKIs head & suffer the consequences. Get found in contempt of court for being so bloody stupid to ignore a court order.
In his decision (delivered orally to the court (& CT) Lang J had directed / ordered TAA to cooperate and left open to TKI chair & her lawyers to approach the HC should there be any ‘monkey business’ – well what else can it be described as?
Tama Potaka is legal counsel for the services group – so he gets to poke his nose into every matter legal within the ‘group’ of companies.
The real issue is – why the rules were not changed to prevent TAA from inter-meddling with the democratic selection by marae of THEIR candidates ?
That rule MUST be changed PDQ & to prevent this spiteful & vindictive inter-meddling by mclean, morgan & the other monkeys from doing it again.
Why are questions not being asked by TAA why morgan represents a place which has NO Marae or BUILDINGS on it? it is privately owned land. How was that place registered as a MARAE in the first place?
And guess is buying people new suits – buying gifts for people – remember Robin Whanga – who complained about the TKI chair stealing stuff – when it was his own family members: it is he who claims that the selection processes used by Hiiona Marae were improper. Guess what the stooge has some new threads & he bragging about it. Though he may have some new sacks to wear – he really is naked & stupid & cannot understand he is being used & led around & up the garden path – like a good little stooge of morgan – 13 pieces of clay for him also.
