The hot topic at the moment is that a new Te Kauhanganui chairperson is to be elected at the next meeting. This is after a kangaroo court booted out the previous chairperson, Tania Martin, on unfounded allegations (lies!) that she had brought the tribe into ‘disrepute’.
After Tuku Morgan was prohibited from standing because he is an unelected member we have three prospects for the position, two of which are known puppets as Tuku and the Maori king seek to stack the ballot (with Awa and Tuwhangai Moana). But we also have a largely unknown quantity when it comes to the remaining candidate, Bill Takarei, the previous deputy chairman who as we have been told is quite popular.
For the king’s croanies Awa and Tuwhangai’s agenda is clear. Like a pair of Judas’s they been planted in order to bring about eventual elimination of Te Kauhanganui and, the theft and transfer of the tribal assets and power to the Maori king and his band of croanies. Let us remind you that Maxine Tuwhangai-Moana was the former Te Arataura member who conspired against Te Kauhanganui in order to keep them in the dark about payments to herself, and the payments that Te Kauhanganui are entitled to.
Follow the money trail and it will directly lead you to the crooks we say. You can do much better than to have either of these pair of crooks as your chairperson.

She is not going to go thru anymore bullshit.No one in the tribe could of put up with what she put up with and our marae so leave us be.The aunt got no beef with the king of Huntly and we dont either even tho we cant stand him.He takes all the money for himself and buys people like tuku Morgan. She more than did her best she went all out for the people. It is the people who failed Tanya not Tanya who failed the people. If your serious about standing up and getting this sorted then hold your own hui and put a strategy in place then do it all the way not until it gets too hard and not for one on their own to do for all but for all to do for all. I know TeManawa would come to that hui. I bet Tanya Martin would too. With the support with the numbers with the road map you can change everything.

I was recently having a clean out and I came across 5 different Maori trusts I belong including RAUKAWA through Ngatira Marae. I have seen people come and go on the boards these new faces. But what have I really got out of all these Multi-million dollar TRUSTS….buggar all actually! They ALL belong to the crown & are instructed by corwn lawyers (legislation) & crown accountants (accounts payable/receiveable). Where is JUSTICE? Lets talk about the 1st MAORI QUEEN for NZ & The fist Maori Judge sworn in under the scales of Justice to Judge these injustices against POHARA MAORI WHANAU!

Isn’t it funny that Tania and others were prepared to disqualify Mr Morgan using the very same Rule about bringing ‘Te Kauhanganui into disrepute’ and then, when a majority of Marae vote to disqualify her its suddenly a ‘kangaroo court’?! Ms Martin has been tried and ‘executed’ by a jury of her peers ie Te Kauhanganui. She and her supporters may not like it, but ‘those who live by the sword, die by the sword’. The problem is that the Rules contain no definition as to exactly what can constitute ‘bringing Te Kauhanganui into disrepute’. ‘Disrepute’ is whatever Te Kauhanganui decides it is, and they decided that Ms Martin did it. End of story. Her tenure was marked by massive spending – on herself mainly. She was paid $158k in one year to do a job that Mr Roa did for $8k in his final full year as Chair. She brought division, distrust and cost the tribe millions and for what – a campaign against Mr Morgan primarily – and she collaborated with current Te Arataura members in doing this, then her ‘friends’ fed her to the wolves! The Report she called for (and then appointed herself to the committee to oversee) found no theft, no dishonesty and has never seen the light of day! Yet Where’s the so-called accountability and transparency?? Tania Martin is gone. Get over it,

I heard that Tuku Morgan was guilty of squandering millions and there was alot of proof. I also heard Tuku took legal action because he did not agree with the decision of his own peers to remove him. Lets face it the only way Tuku is back in the mould is through the greedy king of Huntly. As for Tania Martin even marae and members in the tribal parliament are saying that she did not do anything. Ask eraka.blog they seem to know a lot and they are saying the same thing. Yes 4nau I will watch with interest the dirtyness that comes out in the wash. Bet it will not be Tania.

I don’t think you realise how hurtful your words can be. My father, Maxine’s father, stumbled across your site one day and the look on his face broke my heart. I don’t know who you are, but I feel your blog allows you to remain anonymous which to me is a cowards way of taking cheap shots at others. Because of your choice of words I’m guessing you are well educated but I really hope you aren’t a Maori because I thought Maori are a humble, supportive race. I suggest instead of using my sister to practice your literary skills maybe your time would be better spent trying to do something about a situation you are unhappy with instead of writing about it.

It is a very sad case that Maxine Moana conspired with that crook Robert Tukiri and deliberately chose to keep the people unaware of the payments that she gave to herself and her friends. It is unfortunate but she has nobody to blame but herself.
